The authors, both psychotherapists who have worked extensively with women experiencing post-abortion conflicts, encourage readers to begin keeping a journal in order to recount the memories of their abortion experiences, explore their emotions and gain a deeper understanding of their post-abortion experiences. There are very gentle and meaningful exercises at the end of each chapter that encourage reflection and offer creative ways of comforting and nurturing yourself.
